Nancy became the first female graduate of The Citadel Corps of Cadets in 1999. She graduated with magna cum laude honors. As one of only two women who made it through knob year in '97, she attributes much of her success as a public relations executive to the foundation her experiences at The Citadel provided.
Nancy graduated from the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism at the University of Georgia with a Master of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication. From The Citadel she holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration.
Her father, Brigadier General James E. Mace, is a 1963 graduate of The Citadel, former Commandant of Cadets and most decorated living graduate of The Citadel. Her mother, Dr. Anne J. Mace, is a 1972 MAT program from The Citadel.
She currently resides in Atlanta with her husband, son and two mischievous cat-children.
